Experience
I am an appointed Advanced Level Mathematics Examiner for 2015-2024. I have successfully marked the 2023 Pure Maths EDEXCEL Paper One.( I have a certificate from EDEXCEL to confirm my successful marking of A Level Maths (MECHANICS ) from 2015 to 2018 )
My accuracy as an examiner has given me team leader status. I was a tutor at Wiltshire College for 14 years, then taught Mathematics and Science in the field of Military Science at MOD for another 14 years to 2012. This has given me a superb appreciation of the practical applications of my subjects in many situations. For example Doppler Radar and sensor circuits to identify speed and direction of enemy targets.
I have experience as an Examiner and Moderator in A Level Physics too.
My DBS Certificate has been renewed from 6th August 2023
At St Aldates College, Oxford, I taught A Level Maths and Physics for 6 years at an international Independent school.
At Wiltshire College, I was responsible for setting up a Mathematics Study Centre. I have a vast experience of one-to-one tuition and the negotiation of learning programs with indiviual students. I taught on a wide range of courses at Advanced Level: Pure Maths, Mechanics, Further Maths, Statistics and Physics. GCSE Maths and Physics, BTEC Computing, HND Engineering, BEd Education
At the Ministry of Defefence, I was a subject matter expert in the following fields:
RADAR, Thermal Imaging, Ballistics, Missile Dynamics. I taught Military Science and Mathematics to Army Officers for 14 years. I taught the use of EXCEL, SHAREPOINT and POWERPOINT. I write IOS Apple Mac IPHONE APPS

I am an Enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics and Physics to Advanced Level-and beyond.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and help students to fulfil their true potential. I keep up to date with Physics news. use ZOOM Pro for ONLINE lessons :
I also use BITPAPER which keeps all the lessons taught in one place. It’s a really innovative resource sharing environment that will cost you nothing. The student gains possession of lessons that can be referred to for revision and reinforcement of concepts.
I have found that the students who succeed are the ones who consistently complete the work I recommend them to do.
I have many great feedback comments and I want to continue Tutoring because it is great fun,. All students have their own way of learning but I insist that they do extra work to consolidate their learning.
Availablity
I prefer tutoring in Advanced Level Maths/Further Maths/Statistics/Physics.
Any exam Board for Physics : Edexcel, AQA, OCR, WJEC
For MATHS ..I prefer EDEXCEL Board because that is my examining board and I examine for this board, but all boards will be fine.
I am retired as a teacher, So I have plenty time to prepare excellent lessons.
I expect students to do extra work which I will mark and give feedback to student and parent.
Morning tutorials are really best for me but I realise students are at school
